The 2021 Kia Sorento EX: Car subscription

If a car by the month is the plan, the 2021 Kia Sorento EX is worth a look; here is why. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Renting for Bald Knobs

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Bald Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. We have no location in Bald Knobs; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 568 km away.

Close by are Merritt, Stiversville and Oldtown Flats, each with its own page.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 27 litres for every 300 km, going by its 9.0 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, it costs about $13.95 to drive 100 km.

What to expect from the Sorento

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Who the Sorento suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

In our fleet

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Requesting a car

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Rules for renters

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
