Before pickup
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
From your dates to the handover
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
