Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
