Car subscription with this car

This page joins two things: car subscription, and the Nissan Leaf in plain words. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Specs, explained

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

When the Leaf makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people who want car handling with extra load space.

Size and space

As a wagon, it has the length of a car with a bigger load space at the back.

In our fleet

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

The steps

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Checking your details

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.

Can I rent a Nissan Leaf in Toronto?

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.

How old do I need to be to rent?

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.

How much is the deposit?

Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.

What coverage do I need?

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.

Can the car be delivered?

Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
