The 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie: Car subscription

For a car by the month, the 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Nearby places include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

The 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

The combined figure, 9.0 L/100 km, means roughly 27 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Space, size and seats

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

In our fleet

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What happens when you ask for a car

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
