Renting the 2020 Subaru Forester Premier

Car subscription: the 2020 Subaru Forester Premier. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

The Forester and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Under the hood

The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.2 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $12.71 to drive 100 km.

What the Forester is like

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Our Forester cars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Booking, step by step

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Driver basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
