Specs, explained

It is powered by the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It uses 15.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 47 kWh of charge. On paper it goes 568 km between charges, less in winter. Driving 300 km costs roughly $7.02 at our price setting.

Requirements

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Your booking, in three steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
