This 2021 Tesla Model 3 Long Range page is written for a car by the month: the car first, then renting it from us. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 15.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 47 kWh. The EPA rates its range at 568 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. Expect about $2.34 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space and size

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

What happens when you ask for a car

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we need from you

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
