Freestone and the Model 3

Freestone is about 3,665 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Freestone.

Places around Freestone include Occidental, Bodega and Valley Ford.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the electric motor with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. A 300 km weekend costs about $8.37 in energy at our price setting.

A good match for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How renting with us works

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
