Van rental: black 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance in Freestone

The 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance: Van rental

Here is the 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance, for anyone after a van or a seven-seat car. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

A note on Freestone

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Freestone starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,665 km from Freestone, and does not deliver there.

Occidental, Bodega and Valley Ford are the closest places to Freestone on our list.

Under the hood

The electric motor, paired with a 1-speed automatic, drives it. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $8.37 at our price setting.

What the Model 3 is like

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 425 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Can I rent it?

How it works

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Renting: the basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Your move

Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
