Reading the spec sheet

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. That works out to about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the Model 3

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

Can you rent one?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

Rules for renters

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

The booking steps

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
