What the specs mean

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

At 14.8 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 44 kWh. Its rated range is 423 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. Expect about $2.22 per 100 km at our price setting.

Practical details

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

What to bring

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

The booking steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
