Neighbouring areas include Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the 5.7L 8-cylinder; drive: rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Expect about 41 litres for every 300 km, going by its 13.6 L/100 km combined rating. A 300 km weekend costs about $63.24 in energy at our price setting.

Inside and out

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

A good match for

It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

From request to keys

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
