Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 1.8L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 22 litres, from its 7.3 L/100 km rating. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $11.32 at our price setting.

Size and space

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Our Corolla cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

What we ask of drivers

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Your booking, in three steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
