Driver basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
