The booking steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we need from you

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
