From your dates to the handover

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Rules for renters

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
