The 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv: Collision replacement car

This 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv page is written for a car while yours is off the road: the car first, then renting it from us. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Renting for Java

Java is about 3,178 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction are the neighbouring places on our list.

The numbers in plain words

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The combined figure, 8.6 L/100 km, means roughly 26 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $150.50.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Space and size

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking in plain terms

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
