What the specs mean

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The EPA rates it at 8.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 26 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $15.05 to drive 100 km.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

In our fleet

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Requesting a car

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
