Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Rent it from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Who qualifies

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Booking in plain terms

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
