Specs, explained

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space, size and seats

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

How booking works

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Driver requirements

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
