Engine and fuel

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Combined fuel use is 8.3 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Licence, age and card

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
