The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

How renting with us works

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before you rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
