What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Who the A4 suits

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

How booking works

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Licence, age and card

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
