What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Before you rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How to book

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
