The 2021 Audi A4 Komfort: Car service

Reading the spec sheet

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Combined fuel use is 8.3 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

How big it is

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting this car from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Your booking, in three steps

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

One more step

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
