The figures, translated

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

What to expect from the A4

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Your booking, in three steps

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

What we need from you

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
