The figures, translated

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Inside and out

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

What to have ready

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

What to expect when you book

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
