Floyds Knobs and the A4

Next door to Floyds Knobs are Saint Marys, Edwardsville and Duncan.

The A4 in silver

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for silver and we try. Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

Engine and fuel

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

The A4 in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
