Hackney and the A4

We have no location in Hackney; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 939 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Hackney starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Around Hackney you will also find Chocowinity, Porter and Elks Mobile Home Park.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our A4 cars

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

How to book

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Requirements

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Ready when you are

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
