Renting: the basics

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
