Specs, explained

The 3.5L 6-cylinder, paired with a 9-speed automatic, drives it. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Expect about 31 litres for every 300 km, going by its 10.4 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $16.12, and a 300 km weekend about $48.36.

Who it is for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

How big it is

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Our Pilot cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

What we check

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Your request, our offer, your keys

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
