Rust repair: the 2020 Honda Pilot LX
Here is how we handle rust repair for the 2020 Honda Pilot LX: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Rust is cut out or treated, then the area is refinished.
Size and finish
As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. NHTSA lists 11 recall campaigns for this model; a repair visit is a good moment to ask whether each was done.
Getting a quote
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A rental meanwhile
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Add a rental to the same request as the work. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
How long it takes
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Photos of the damage taken at the scene help with the repair and the claim.
After the work
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
How the price is set
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
One more step
A short request is all it takes to get a price for your car.
