The 2014 MINI Cooper: Collision replacement car
Here is the 2014 MINI Cooper, for anyone after a car while yours is off the road. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Specs, explained
The 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 6-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
It is rated 7.2 L/100 km combined: about 22 litres every 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.60 in fuel at our price setting.
Space, size and seats
As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. Its 255 litres of luggage space fit about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a summer weekend or a special occasion more than a move.
Renting this car
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Driver basics
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Booking in plain terms
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Next step
Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
