Collision replacement car: the 2016 MINI Cooper
Want the 2016 MINI Cooper as a car while yours is off the road? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
The numbers in plain words
Power: the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
A combined rating of 7.5 L/100 km works out to about 23 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $13.13 in fuel at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Practical details
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. In plain terms, its 255 litres of luggage space hold about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Rent it from us
We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
How it works
You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Driver requirements
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
Get an offer
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
