Collision replacement car and the 2012 MINI John Cooper Works
Renting the 2012 MINI John Cooper Works as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Engine and fuel
Its 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo drives through a 6-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
At 8.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 26 litres of fuel. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $14.88 at our price setting.
Who the John Cooper Works suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Space and size
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. Its 170 litres of luggage space fit about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Getting this car from us
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
How booking works
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
What to bring
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Want a price?
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
