Collision replacement car: orange 2019 Ram 1500 Limited in Java

The 2019 Ram 1500 Limited: Collision replacement car

If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The 1500 and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

Its 5.7L 8-cylinder drives through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

The combined figure, 13.6 L/100 km, means roughly 41 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $21.08 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Inside and out

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Renting it

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we need from you

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

One more step

If a car here fits, request it for your dates.
