The 2005 Subaru Outback: Collision replacement car
For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2005 Subaru Outback brings, and how to request one. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Engine and fuel
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Size and space
The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Getting one from us
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Driver basics
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
What happens when you ask for a car
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Can I rent a 2005 Subaru Outback in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
