About the 2012 Subaru Outback
Collision replacement car and the 2012 Subaru Outback: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Specs, explained
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Who the Outback suits
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
How big it is
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.
Can you rent one?
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How booking works
A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You pay when you approve, and only then.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
What we need from you
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Over to you
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.

Can I rent a 2012 Subaru Outback in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
