What the specs mean

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. Expect about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Inside and out

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What to bring

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
