Specs, explained

The electric motor does the work, through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Room inside

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting the Model 3 from CarmaCars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

From request to keys

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
