Reading the spec sheet

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

Living with the Model 3

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA measures its luggage space at 425 litres, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can I rent it?

From request to keys

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
