Collision replacement car: the 2021 Toyota Corolla L

This page joins two things: collision replacement car, and the 2021 Toyota Corolla L in plain words. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Corolla and Knobs

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 692 km from Knobs, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Knobs.

The pages for Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union cover the areas next door.

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 20 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 6.6 L/100 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $102.30 at our price setting.

When the Corolla makes sense

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 510 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

How booking works

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

What to have ready

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

One more step

If a car here fits, request it for your dates.
