Collision replacement car: silver 2021 Toyota Corolla XSE in Java

Renting the 2021 Toyota Corolla XSE

If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the 2021 Toyota Corolla XSE is worth a look; here is why. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

The Corolla and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the specs mean

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Fuel use is rated 7.0 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 21 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $32.55 in energy at our price setting.

Room inside

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the Corolla

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Booking with CarmaCars

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Driver requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
