The 2020 Audi A4 Technik: Courtesy car

For a car while yours is off the road, the 2020 Audi A4 Technik could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Java and the A4

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.83, and a 300 km weekend about $41.49.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With a length of 4.76 m, it counts as on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Getting this car from us

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How booking works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What we need from you

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Over to you

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
