Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
