Who can rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
