This 2021 Ford Edge ST page is written for a car while yours is off the road: the car first, then renting it from us. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Java and the Edge

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 442 km from Java, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Places around Java include Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners.

Engine and fuel

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 29 litres for every 300 km, going by its 9.8 L/100 km combined rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $15.19 at our price setting.

Who rents the Edge

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

How big it is

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Can you rent one?

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we ask of drivers

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How to book

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
