What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
