A note on Knobs

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Knobs is about 692 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Places around Knobs include Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

What the specs mean

The engine is the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated 7.8 L/100 km combined: about 23 litres every 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.09 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Escape

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Good uses for the Escape

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Renting this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Before pickup

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How renting with us works

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Talk to a person

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
